Studio Brief 01, Logotype - A look into H&M

In effort to see how different fast fashion brands sell themselves compared to American Apparel, I went inside took pictures of H&M's store front and shop floor.

In reality, H&M's store front doesn't really say a lot. The logo are just the initials of Hennes & Mauritz and is tiny compared to the type size American Apparel use.

What catches the shoppers eye is the bold red that contrasts well against its white store and stands out from its competitors.

Another thing to note is the sheer volume of clothes they have in store. The clothes influence and reflect what people are wearing today and cater to a wide range of audience, both young and old.
