Creative interpretation of the ISTD brief

A rewrite of the ISTD brief in relation with the chosen subject will help define the aims and purpose of the solution and clarify the overall concept.

Background

Isamu Noguchi was a Japanese American artist whose career spanned over six decades from the 1920s onward. He was a man of inexhaustible energy and invention, and was always in motion. Noguchi often worked on simultaneous endeavours throughout his career: carving sculpture out of wood and stone, creating stage sets for the dancer Martha Graham and others, designing light fixtures and other furniture, and producing sculptural environments around the world. His work, at once subtle and bold, traditional and modern, set a new standard for the reintegration of the arts.
