Penguin - Full cover mockup
This is a mock up of what all of the book's cover will look altogether. The sailfish is moved to the back page to retain visual simplicity on the front. This typeface is chosen as the elongated letterforms help focus the attention to the centre of the book cover. Furthermore it has less connotations to the TATE gallery and Neville Brody's work.
A suggestion was said to monoprint the blood smear on the front to add texture and a further level of depth. The blood smear could also be made to look like the boot Perry left behind that was key to the solving of the case. This would mean the removal of the sailfish as the two have no relation.
