The typeface's tall characteristics accentuate the large height of the poster.
Colour is not added at this stage to concentrate on the composition first.
Despite the experiments in the quotes typesetting, the overall poster looks too rigid and clinical to demand the readers attention.
The 'ok' set in Mistral is aimed to give the composition more liveliness through its cursive characteristics that break from the clean lines of the dominant typeface and through its size and placement that break away from the grid structure.
'Ok' is chosen to be the main word for emphasis as this should be the feeling students should have when thinking about asking questions. Because all students have questions, it is just the hesitation in asking which is the main factor.
Setting it yellow lowers its contrast against the white background and black type which adds depth through the layered effect.
The proposed colour scheme for the poster reminded me of the work of Hans Arp and it sparked the idea to use the question mark as a visual motif to help structure the white space of the poster.
The typesetting that follows the form of the question mark is an attempt to create a more playful composition of the quote.
