The compositions above are typeset to best display the qualities of the typeface.
Their positioning follow a strict adherence to the grid whilst the letters vertically align with each line.
The use of outlined type for "Kimberley McBeath 2010" lessens the heaviness of the poster and provides contrast against the main quote. The use of outline also highlights the design of the typeface.
In Fig. 1 the large empty space created in between is powerful, created by the uniform cap and baseline of the typeface.
The typesetting of "Kimberley McBeath 2010" in Fig. 2 and 3 is aimed to add some rhythm to the page's composition.
In Fig. 4 and 5, the 'OK' has been made to be the prominent feature of both the poster and the quote, at the request of the client.
Out of these sent over to the client for feedback, Fig. 5 was selected.
