Feedback and final logo design

From the range of possible logo designs given for feedback, this is the final choice.

The logotype's design created from the manipulation of one letterform is informed by the clients design methodology. This manipulation has subsequently made abstract shapes to represent M and W that sets the brand apart from the usual branding techniques used by  fashion houses. The letterforms are ambiguous enough to allow flexibility for the brand as well as providing personality. This shifts the Michaela Wong brand from typical high fashion branding techniques with more independent and niche brands.

The use of a sans serif helps maintain the logo's modernity, prolonging its brand image and relevance. The thin outline of 'MW' compliments the brand's typeface as well as allowing for Michaela's content to show through on promotional material.

Further applications of the logo at this moment are put on hold as requested by the client. At this stage, a logo design is sufficient in answering the brief, as plans for the brand will be made further down the line such as promotional poster designs and a lookbook.
