Publication spreads

The layout of the publication follows a direct format whereby the typographic sculptures and Noguchi sculptures are shown side by side for the reader to have direct comparison of each form. As the publication progresses however, this boundary between the types of sculptures blur and come closer together. This is meant to indicate the merging of type and sculptural form.

This merging of type and sculpture is also reflected through the interchanging placement of both sculptures, best seen in the Akari pages. This demonstrates how these type sculptures can be seen in the same light as sculptural form. This playful layout of the content also helps to liven the reading experience.

*A breakdown of the letterforms used for each typographic sculpture will not be published as they are original artistic compositions that should not be imitated.
