Feedback

From the initial logo designs given to Monica for feedback, these new designs represent her ideas on how the logo could develop further.

A more specific shade of navy chosen by Monica is used here to represent her collection.

These new iterations of her business cards are an opposite to her previous designs. The stripped back colour scheme allows for more direct communication which amplifies her name.

The use of Futura creates a consistent identity across herself and her work.

The use of a thinner 'O' in some of the designs are a visual motif that is aimed to highlight the geometric circle in her name.

Examples 5 and 6 uses the 'I's in Monica Birzan as a visual motif.

Examples 8 and 9 highlight the circle of the 'O' by contrasting it with condensed weights of Futura.

Example 10 is a rework of her original card design.

Above are examples of her postcard designs. They follow a relatively simple design which directly communicates her collection's name and what it looks like.

Example 3 aligns the 'l' with the vertical positioning of the model's leg.

Examples 4 are alternative typographic designs of her postcards that she could use alongside her photographic ones to give some variation.

Example 5 is the back of her postcard. The unaligned column of texts help break up the heaviness of the amount of copy to allow for easier reading.
