Studio Brief 02 - Raf Simons S/S 2015 Spread

With this collection Raf Simons displayed his knack for drawing influences from the past, specifically his own past in this case. Through this idea, he displays various of images on the clothing resembling a collage. In some ways his collage of images on the outfits relate to the layout of images in this publication. Furthermore in this collection, Simons designed numerous jackets that displays the assortment of images.

To show the amount of repetition in this collection, the images are placed one after another, choosing the ones in the same pose to give the illusion they are walking behind one another on the runway. The design of the RS RS and copy box is taken from a design element in Raf Simons shirts.
