Studio Brief 02 - Sterling Ruby

Given that Raf Simons takes inspiration and has collaborated with Sterling Ruby in the past, it was fitting to visit Sterling's exhibition “WORK WEAR: Garment and Textile Archive 2008-2016” in Sprüth Magers London. 

For the “WORK WEAR: Garment and Textile Archive 2008-2016” exhibition, coats, ponchos, bags, shirts and pants were all on display, each of which features the fabrics used to create Sterling's quilts, collages, textiles and sculptures. 

For the publication, this will provide content for the page layout. For example, by capturing the details of Sterling's Work Wear. 

These patterns can be used as a background for the page's layout, immersing the reader in the work of Sterling Ruby.
