Firstly is the placement and size of the festivals logo. From afar, the logo is relatively easy to spot with the white colour palette contrasting heaving against the dark interior of the space. By having a large, noticeable logo on the outside of the exhibition space, it makes it easier for the public to find the venue if they are unfamiliar with the area. Whats makes the logo noticeable as well is its unique design.
Using a symbol based logo instead of a typographic one may be more successful in capturing the public's attention and establishing itself as an identifier for the festival. It stands out from the numerous typographic logos in the public today.
Inside are further variations of the festival's logo to further affirm its exhibition identity onto the visitor and to demonstrate how versatile the logo is. One on hand it symbolises the exhibition and on the other can be transformed into a desirable print design. What also is effective is the boldness of the blue that signifies the vibrancy of the colours throughout the works shown in the festival. By having a logo that is versatile enough to transform into a print design, it relates to the nature of festival and thus makes the logo entirely effective and contextually apt. This versatility and relatability to the festivals purpose is definitely something to consider in designing the identity for the money exhibition.
The festival was also effective in how it displayed the artwork. Being works of print, the use of clips shows off the paper used and emphasises this fact as compared to if the works were presented in frames.
